Terms of Use

By downloading and using Spotter, you agree to these terms. Spotter is available on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android; where the terms differ by platform, that is called out below.

The app

Spotter is provided for personal use to plan and log your own strength training. You are responsible for training safely and within your own limits. Spotter is a logging tool and does not provide medical or coaching advice.

License

On iPhone and Apple Watch, your use of Spotter is also governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

On Android, your use of Spotter is governed by these terms, and your purchase by the Google Play Terms of Service. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control.

Purchases

The free tier includes two custom workouts with unlimited logging. Spotter Pro unlocks unlimited workouts through a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription.

On iPhone and Apple Watch, purchases are billed by Apple and subscriptions renew until cancelled in your App Store account settings.

On Android, purchases are billed by Google Play and subscriptions renew until cancelled in your Google Play account, under Payments & subscriptions. Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, not by me.

No warranty

Spotter is provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Your data is stored on your device, so keeping it backed up is your responsibility. On iPhone and Apple Watch that means your device and your own iCloud. On Android there is no sync, so the copy that matters is the one on your device — use Export all data in Settings to keep a copy of your own.
